OMD 2030

OMD 2030 is an Independent Community Association formed to represent the community of Oranjemund as a key Transform stakeholder. OMD 2030 is co-accountable for social aspects of Town Transform delivery as per their constitution. Annual implementation plans are created in partnership with OMDis, Namdeb and the OTC.

This unique citizenry association was created specifically to involve, represent, educate, and support the community of Oranjemund through its transformation, is involved in tourism promotion, Town for Tomorrow and environmental education as well as other citizenry projects, such as the Hub/ Night markets, community fun run and Resilience program which engage and activate the community.

While OMDis’ focus is economic diversification, OMD2030 plays a pivotal partnership role in ensuring that the community is not left behind during its transformation.
